What locations do you offer for your picnics?

Most of our experiences take place around the village of Gdinj and the beautiful coastal area of Plame, on the eastern side of Hvar island. Depending on the experience, your picnic can be set by the sea, with a panoramic sea view, or in a peaceful olive garden surrounded by nature. We’ll share the exact location after booking.

Do you offer transportation to the picnic spot?

Transportation is not included, but we’re happy to help you with directions or local taxi contacts if needed. All picnic spots are accessible by car or on foot.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, so please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.

What’s included in the picnic experience?

Every picnic includes a cozy setup (blanket, cushions, tableware), a curated menu with local snacks and drinks, and thoughtful little details to make it special. Engagement picnics come with extra romantic touches.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We keep a close eye on the forecast. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll reschedule your picnic or offer a refund/credit – depending on your preference.

 

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3-4 days in advance, especially for engagement picnics or during the high season (July–August). Last-minute bookings are possible depending on availability.

How long does a picnic last?

Typically around 2 to 2.5 hours, but we’re flexible. If you need more time, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Picnic on Hvar is an experience offered by Plamea Hvar, a regenerative farm on island Hvar, place Gdinj.  We want to show you the beauty and culture of  eastern Hvar through unique picnic services that combine nature, food, and local traditions.
