Where nature, silence, and local life meet.

Tucked away on the eastern edge of Hvar island, Plame is not a tourist hotspot – and that’s exactly its charm. Here, time slows down. Stone paths lead through olive groves, fig trees bend under the sun, and the sea sparkles just beyond the pines.

This is the Hvar you won’t find in brochures – simple, quiet, and real.

Local Food & Wine – Our Farm, Plamea

Rooted in the land. Shared with love.

At the heart of our picnic experience is our small family farm – Plamea – tucked among olive trees, dry stone walls, and wild herbs just above the sea. Here, we grow and make much of what we serve: from cold-pressed olive oil, to homemade spreads, figs, herbs, wild vinegar and local wine made in small batches.

Everything is done slowly, by hand, and with respect for tradition and season. No shortcuts, no mass production—just honest flavours from the land we care for.

Our food reflects the rhythm of life here:

  • Olives & olive oil from our grove

  • Homemade jam and sun-dried fruits

  • Goat cheese and smoked delicacies from local producers

  • Seasonal vegetables & herbs from our garden

  • House wine made with native grape varieties

  • And yes—bread, baked the old way

You’ll taste all this in your picnic, whether you’re by the sea, under the pines, or sitting on a rock with your feet in the grass.

💡 Want to visit the farm or taste something special? Let us know—we love sharing the story behind each bite.

Depending on the season and our daily rhythm, we offer:

  • Mini farm visits – Walk through the olive grove, learn about local plants, and see how we prepare food the old-fashioned way

We keep it simple, personal, and grounded in daily life—no tour buses, no rush, just you and the story behind the flavours.

Farm visits available by request. Let us know in advance if you're interested, and we’ll find a time that works.
